Helping Non-profits through Data Collection and Use

All non-profit organizations (NPOs) are trying to improve the world through their work; however, roughly 50% these of non-profit organizations are doing so with less than $25,000 in revenue per year. This greatly restricts how many people these NPOs can reach with their programming as well as what tools these NPOs can leverage for their programing and funding applications.

McConoughey Consulting is working with these small, resource-limited non-profit organizations to:

  1. Review the organizational and programmatic needs

  2. Identify (free or low cost) tools for data collection

  3. Implement data collection tools

  4. Collect data

  5. Assist and educate in data analysis

  6. Use data to improve programs or apply for additional funding

The collection, analysis, and use of data is key for both improving programs year over year and when applying for foundational and government grants.

The goal of McConoughey Consulting is to provide smaller NPOs with tools that they can use to reach more people with their services and to have better opportunities for funding.

This blog will be used to educate NPOs on ways to leverage data for their organizational gain. If you would like to discuss how we could help your organization, reach out to us today for a review of your organization and its needs.
